We are pleased to announce that our Social Infrastructure business has been awarded a £200 million Haringey Housing Major Works partnering contract for Lot 2 – Central. This represents the largest of the four lots awarded under the Council’s 10-year housing investment programme.
The announcement was marked with a Partnership Launch Event, bringing together representatives from United Infrastructure, Haringey Council, involved residents and key delivery partners. The event reaffirmed a shared commitment to collaboration, transparency and placing residents at the heart of decision‑making throughout the programme.
Procured via the London Construction Programme under a Term Alliance Contract, the partnership supports Haringey’s ambition to modernise its housing stock and achieve 100% decency by 2028.
We will deliver vital improvements across more than 5,000 homes in neighbourhoods including West Green, Noel Park, Woodside and Bounds Green. Core workstreams include:
The contract places a strong emphasis on quality, safety, sustainability, and social value – all areas where United Infrastructure has demonstrated proven capability and leadership.
Our appointment builds upon its strong partnerships with other major housing providers across London including Westminster City Council, Royal Borough of Greenwich, Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, London Borough of Lewisham, Peabody, L&Q and Clarion.
Claire Kershaw, CEO, Social Infrastructure, said:
“We are incredibly proud to be selected as one of Haringey’s trusted delivery partners for this significant programme. Our in-house design expertise, combined with our experience in high-rise buildings and a strong track record with major housing providers, uniquely positions us to deliver long-term, transformative results for residents across the borough. The partnership builds upon our existing work within the Borough where we are delivering essential refurbishment to Kenneth Robbins House and looks forward to continuing its collaboration with local stakeholders and the resident board.
“We are also deeply committed to creating meaningful social value; driving social and economic impact throughout the community, ensuring Haringey residents benefit from job creation, training opportunities, and a more sustainable, inclusive future.”
