United Living Infrastructure Services strengthens its position as a UK leader supporting the energy distribution network

United Living Infrastructure Services (ULIS) has strengthened its position as a UK leader supporting the energy distribution network after recently completing a pipeline installation training session at the newly built Kingspan Academy at Logstor District Heating Solutions in Wakefield.

Reaching a milestone for both Kingspan-Logstor and ULIS, we became the first company to complete training and assessment at the UK facility, which had only been previously available at Kingspan-Logstor locations in Denmark. ULIS received approved installer accreditation following the successful completion of compliance training.

At the facility, ULIS operators gained essential skill-specific experience in completing Logstor installations, further extending our capability to deliver pre-insulated district heating networks.  This investment increases our experience and expertise in pipeline construction, insulation and leak detection techniques. It provides ULIS with the competence needed to deliver fusion welded and shrink jointing applications on heat network projects specifying Logstor products.
