End-to-end power infrastructure solutions

United Infrastructure supports this transition by delivering fully integrated power infrastructure solutions across transmission and distribution networks. As an Independent Connection Provider (ICP), we deliver end-to-end design, construction, and maintenance of electrical networks up to 400kV.

We are a National Electricity Registration Scheme (NERS) accredited provider, and we work seamlessly with DNOs, IDNOs, and private network operators to ensure safe, compliant, sustainable, and efficient project delivery.

We are proud to support leading UK electricity network operators and asset owners, including SSE, National Grid, SP Energy Networks and SP Electricity North West, NPg and UKPN.

With more than 75 years of engineering experience across the UK, our teams combine local delivery knowledge with specialist power infrastructure expertise to support critical national infrastructure and local community energy needs.

Transmission delivery partner

Overhead lines, towers and transmission connections

We support transmission network operators and delivery partners through the construction, refurbishment and upgrade of transmission infrastructure. Our services range from large regional programmes to individual connection projects to deliver new build and refurbishment of power transmission lines and connections. Projects can be delivered from conception through engineering, design, construction, and commissioning phases through to final close out.

Our transmission capability includes:

New build and refurbishment of overhead transmission lines up to 400kV
Transmission tower and pylon installation and modification
Underground transmission cable installation and replacement
Transmission connections for renewable generation and major infrastructure projects

ICP delivery for DNO and IDNO networks

As a registered ICP, we deliver compliant, safe and efficient distribution infrastructure and grid connections supporting network growth and reinforcement.

Our distribution capability includes:
