Around 300 homes need to be retrofitted every hour if we’re to meet the UK’s net zero carbon target by 2050. It’s clear that the world is facing a climate emergency, and upgrading the nation’s homes is the biggest opportunity we have to reduce carbon emissions.
Here at United Infrastructure, we have invested heavily in the development of our in-house decarbonisation expertise. Our team has unrivalled experience of working collaboratively with our clients and supply partners, providing advice on strategy, funding, design and delivery for whole-house retrofits in order to achieve their net zero ambitions.
With our technical expertise and compliance support, our clients can upgrade their housing portfolio, reduce carbon emissions and help residents out of fuel poverty.

Providing insight and advice
Stock analysis and assessment
We’ll help to assess all stock data and carry out property assessments to advise and inform our clients as they embark on their retrofit journey. As well as this, we’ll help to align decarbonisation works against existing work programmes to help cost savings.
Energy efficiency funding
With experience in securing funding from some of the UK’s major schemes, such as WH:SHF (formerly SHDF) and ECO, we’ll help to administer the whole process and provide insight and advice, to ensure all compliance requirements are met.

We’re proud to be a TrustMark Registered Business, and our retrofit design partners meet PAS 2035 requirements, providing assurance and peace of mind to our clients as they progress toward achieving energy performance targets.
Construction works
Our team is committed to achieving the highest standards, and our PAS 2030:2019 accreditation gives our clients confidence in our level of service. We’re experienced in delivering complicated projects on time and on budget, and our Customer Excellence Team will develop a bespoke engagement programme to ensure that residents are fully informed throughout.
