Leadership Update: Power Transmission & Distribution

United Infrastructure is announcing a series of leadership appointments within our Power Transmission & Distribution business, reflecting the continued evolution of our structure as we support our customers through a period of unprecedented investment, rising demand, and accelerating net‑zero commitments.

Campbell Crawford — Managing Director, Power T&D

Campbell Crawford has been appointed Managing Director – Power T&D, taking responsibility for our full UK footprint. Campbell has been with United Infrastructure for three years, most recently serving as Managing Director for Energy & Water. His deep understanding of our business, strong customer relationships, and strategic insight position him to lead the Power T&D business through its next phase of growth.

Campbell will ensure we remain aligned to our customers’ significant investment programmes, strengthening delivery capability and driving performance across the portfolio.

Sandy Crerar — Commercial Director, Power T&D

Sandy Crerar has been appointed Commercial Director – Power T&D. With over 20 years of experience across commercial and operational roles in the sector, Sandy brings a strong track record of delivering value for money, fostering collaboration, and shaping innovative commercial solutions.

His leadership will help ensure we continue to deliver competitive, transparent, and customer‑focused commercial outcomes across the full value chain.

John Aitken — Managing Director, Scotland

John Aitken has been appointed Managing Director – Scotland. With more than 20 years of multi‑sector experience (SPEN, City Fibre, Morrison Water), including extensive hands‑on expertise across transmission, distribution, and energy infrastructure, John brings a powerful blend of operational leadership and commercial acumen.

He will oversee our expanding portfolio across Scotland, providing clear, on‑the‑ground leadership as our presence grows. John is well placed to accelerate our regional ambitions and ensure we continue to deliver safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Iain Lamont — Growth & Development Director

Iain Lamont has been appointed Growth & Development Director, with responsibility for shaping our strategy and strengthening alignment with our customers’ future needs. With 40 years of experience in the Power Transmission industry, spanning operational leadership and senior strategic roles, Iain brings unparalleled sector knowledge.

He will focus on evolving our core offering, deepening customer relationships, and ensuring our capabilities continue to meet the demands of a rapidly changing market.
