Appointment of new Head of Strategic Bids

United Living Group, the provider of infrastructure, housing and property services, is pleased to announce the appointment of Noela Fitton as Head of Strategic Bids, United Living Infrastructure Services.

Noela has over three decades of experience operating in the utility and infrastructure sector, where she has been responsible for leading major bids and tenders. Her previous role was Head of Bids at UK utility and infrastructure provider, Network Plus. Noela’s extensive expertise includes end-to-end management of strategic bids and tenders across the water, power, gas, and telecoms sectors as well as business development, client and stakeholder relationships, strategic projects, and social value partnerships. Noela is currently President of the Institute of Water (Northern Area), a professional body which supports the careers of anyone working in the UK water sector.

Noela is also enthusiastic about advancing diversity within the utilities industry and is an active member of the Women’s Utilities Network.

In addition to her extensive professional experience, she is passionate about charity and social values, which has led her to volunteer at Macmillan Cancer Support, Children’s Adventure Farm Trust, and establish partnerships with the Armed Forces.

Jim Blanchard, Partnering and New Business Director, United Living, commented: “On behalf of United Living, I am delighted to welcome Noela Fitton as Head of Strategic Bids to the Infrastructure Services business.

Noela is a key recruit to the business, who will deliver and drive bids for clients across energy, water and telecoms. Her wide knowledge and capability within the utility industry will help us to further enhance our relationships with our customers across the UK. We are also encouraged by her passion for attracting diverse talent into the utilities sector, a cause that United Living also feels strongly about.

We are looking forward to working with Noela and striving to develop smarter, more sustainable infrastructure solutions for our customers.”
