United Living awarded two National Housing Maintenance Forum (NHMF) frameworks

United Living Group, the provider of infrastructure, housing, and property services, is pleased to announce its subsidiary, United Living Property Services (ULPS), has been awarded a place on two National Housing Maintenance Forum (NHMF) frameworks.

The frameworks are with Frameworx, a not-for-profit organisation that was launched in association with the NHMF by industry leaders. Frameworx strives to give social housing partners access to the best choice of pre-qualified contractors offering something new, including a competitive maximum fee of 1.5%, an established and engaged supply chain, and investment into initiatives such as social value, training and benchmarking.

The first is the Planned Maintenance Framework, and ULPS will be involved in a number of workstreams, including external, internal and communal works, cyclical redecoration and pre-decoration repairs, net-zero carbon works, and passive fire safety works.

The second framework, the Responsive Maintenance framework, involves responsive maintenance and void property works.

Simon Will, Managing Director, United Living Property Services, commented: “We are delighted to have been chosen as a trusted contractor for Frameworx, in particular by an organisation that is bringing a unique ethos and approach to procurement by prioritising social values and investing their surpluses in sustainability, research, and training.

“ULPS also recognises that regeneration can only be effective once the social, economic, and environmental benefits to a local community are considered, and we are looking forward to working closely with a company that reflects these values.”

David Miller, Director, Frameworx, said: “A warm welcome to United Living onto the 2022 Planned Maintenance Net Zero Carbon Works framework who join Frameworx’s engaged and established supply chain and share our passion to deliver better homes and communities.

As our tagline ‘connect with the best’ suggests, working with Frameworx gives our social housing partners access to the best choice, experience, value for money and innovation from a UK-wide range of pre-qualified contractors, consultants, vehicle provision & building material suppliers.”
