United Living restructures infrastructure services division and appoints Steve Craddock as Managing Director

United Living Group, the provider of infrastructure, housing and property services, is pleased to announce the restructuring and rebrand of its infrastructure services division to support the Group’s future growth in key sectors across the UK.

Both Fastflow Energy Services (“FES”) and Fastflow Pipeline Services (“FPS”) will change their company names with immediate effect to United Living Energy Ltd and United Living Water Ltd respectively. Both entities will continue to sit within United Living Infrastructure Services (“ULIS”).

The restructuring and rebranding of the infrastructure services division will ensure that United Living Group continues its focused approach to service delivery, meeting customers’ expectations whilst providing good value and addressing the needs of a growing infrastructure market.

As part of these changes, Steve Craddock has been appointed Managing Director of ULIS. Steve joins United Living from SPIE, an independent European leader in multi-technical services in the areas of energy and communications, where he held the position of Regional Director, Industrial Services.

Steve brings a wealth of experience, having supported multiple divisions in key strategic positions, including energy, renewables, utilities, infrastructure and oil and gas. Benn Cottrell remains in the business as Managing Director for the United Living Energy business reporting directly to Steve and will continue to focus his efforts on the energy transition markets.

He joins the leadership team following the recent acquisition of Great British Communications, which increased United Living’s turnover to in excess of £0.5 billion annually.

United Living comprises three service pillars – United Living Infrastructure Services, United Living New Homes and United Living Property Services – delivering a broad range of integrated services. These include new housing and property maintenance services to local authorities and social housing landlords and supporting the infrastructure services required to maintain power, water, and telecommunications throughout the UK.

Over the last few months, the business has also won some major contracts, including a 10-year £160 million partnership with Lewisham Homes, delivering major refurbishment works to its existing housing stock. A 432 new home development in Cardiff, worth £55 million and a £1.6 million contract on a district heating project at the Advanced Manufacturing Innovation District Scotland (AMIDS), which has a total project value of £150 million.

Neil Armstrong, Chair and CEO, United Living Group, commented: “These changes are designed to ensure that we are in the strongest position possible to meet our customers’ needs, address necessary market changes, and continue to make a positive difference in the communities in which we operate.”

Steve Craddock added: “I am pleased to be joining United Living Group at an exciting point in the Group’s development. The business is blessed with talented, ambitious, dedicated people, well-placed to go from strength to strength, and I am excited to be on this journey.”
