United Living Property Services (ULPS) is delighted to announce that it has been successfully appointed to CHIC’s Fire & Building Safety Framework under Lot 1: Installation & Replacement. This achievement reflects our commitment to delivering high quality services and solutions in collaboration with CHIC.

Developed by CHIC members, consultants and contractors, this new framework aims to enhance fire safety compliance across diverse building types while encouraging innovation and efficiency. With a strong focus on flexibility, sustainability and collaborative outcomes, the framework aligns with key legislative requirements, including the Building Safety Act 2022.

Fire safety is a critical component of a comprehensive strategic asset management approach for Registered Providers. Ensuring robust fire safety measures not only protect residents and assets but also underpin the long-term sustainability and compliance of building portfolios.

This framework offers an integrated solution, helping members meet their regulatory obligations, improve building safety and support proactive risk management. ULPS has been awarded Lot 1, which includes areas such as compartmentation, fire doorsets and cladding. Through this framework, we assist members in delivering high-quality fire safety solutions that ensure compliance, manage risks effectively and protect residents.

CHIC (Communities & Housing Investment Consortium) is a collaborative, not for profit, member owned and governed consortium that delivers compliant procurement solutions and commercial support to its members in partnership with the supply chain. They secure savings for their members and are committed to the delivery of improved environmental outcomes and added social value through all that they do.

“We are delighted to be appointed to CHIC’s Fire & Building Safety Framework. This collaboration represents an exciting opportunity for ULPS to contribute to the delivery of crucial building safety works and services for CHIC’s members and we look forward to delivering creating long lasting partnerships.”

John Farrell, Managing Director, United Living Property Services.
